Assaults on the second amendment

“Americans have the will to resist because you have weapons. If you don't have a gun, freedom of speech has no power.” - Yoshimi Ishikawa  “A man with a gun is a citizen. A man without a gun is a subject.” - Allen West    These two quotes may shed light on the reasons a government does not want it's citizens to have firearms. We are seeing more and more assaults on the second amendment as the years go by. It seems we are eating the elephant one bite at a time. The time for silence has passed. Wake up. Stand up for our rights. Speak out. Vote for ideas rather than party. Without the second amendment, the others are in jepordy.

What if all communications went down? It seemed close on Monday.

When Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and others experienced a global outage on Monday, a friend sent me a text saying, “Comms is the first thing to go.” Looking back, only social media was affected, but in reading more on the incident it brought to my attention that many businesses utilize some form of the Facebook platform for business communications. Businesses using the platform were brought to a standstill for the six hours of the outage. The question there is, “Are there too many eggs in one basket?” We talk about redundancy in prepping, what about in communications? Cell phones, email, and video chats were not affected, but they could have been. The next question is, “What would be the effect if all Internet and cell communications went down?" In just the six hours of social media outage, some were experiencing anxiety and withdrawals. Have we become too addicted to our devices and social media? No doubt that it would be devastating if all social communications...
